  • Knee pain, stiffness, or reduced confidence with walking, stairs, or daily activities
  • Unsure how to exercise safely without triggering flare-ups

Why GLA:D®?

GLA:D® (Good Life with Osteoarthritis in Denmark) is one of the most widely implemented and researched osteoarthritis programs in the world. It combines education and exercise, which research consistently shows is more effective than either alone.

  • Standardized and evidence-based, implemented across multiple countries
  • Combines education and exercise. Research shows this is more effective than either alone.
  • Associated with improvements in pain, function, and confidence with movement
  • Many participants report feeling better equipped to delay surgery or prepare for it more effectively

This program follows the established GLA:D® framework, thoughtfully adapted for the Quebec context.
